Classes for 2009 and 2010
Acting Technique Levels 1-6:
This is the diploma course offered at The New School of Drama. It
is designed to prepare students with professional skills that will
enable them to work as actors if they choose. Credits in the program
can be taken consecutively or with breaks between levels. A total
of six credits (72 weeks of training) is required to qualify for
graduation.
The beginner level is offered through the year. The student can
move up to higher levels on an on-going basis based on the faculty's evaluation of progress.
Level One of the Diploma Program will be offered:
    September 22, 2009 and January 17, 2010
Evening classes meet twice a week, Monday and Wednesday evenings, 6:00 - 9:00pm.
Day classes also meet twice a week, Tuesday and Thursday, 11am - 2pm.
Cost: $875, including taxes, paid in 3 installments. Group of 12 maximum.
Admission to Level 2 and above requires a picture and resume.
Levels 2 - 6 are each 12 weeks long and cost $875, paid in installments.
Time is reserved in all courses for individual career counseling.
SUMMER INTENSIVE 2010        June 29 - August 5
An exciting and intense experience of acting focusing on bringing your own sense of truth to every moment of your role.
Classes are twice a week. Evening or day classes are offered whenever possible. The fee is $600, paid in two installments.
